Five New Mobile Libraries Launched to Serve Border Governorates

The Ministry of Culture has announced the launch of five new
as part of the second phase of their mobile libraries project, in collaboration with the Egypt Public Libraries Fund. These libraries will be deployed to border provinces including North Sinai, Matrouh, Aswan, New Valley and the Red Sea.
This second phase builds on the success of the first phase, which was initiated from the New Administrative Capital in 2023 and brought cultural services to underserved areas.
The Egypt Public Libraries Fund oversees 41 libraries nationwide, including both stationary and mobile units. Its collaboration with the Ministry of Culture has significantly expanded the network of libraries across the country, including those in provincial capitals.
