Yemenia Airways announced that commercial flights between Sanaa, Yemen, and both Egypt and India will resume, according to Yemen's state news agency SABA. Return flights to Cairo will operate daily, though service to Egypt will restart on Tuesday, July 30th after a Sunday flight was cancelled.
This resumption is part of a broader agreement between Saudi Arabia and Yemen aimed at ‘easing tensions in Yemen's decade-long civil war’, according to Reuters. Flights between Sanaa and Cairo had been suspended since late 2016.
