Fly Over The Pyramids At Egypt's First Ever Air Sports Festival

You can't do that in Dubai.

Staff Writer

In collaboration with the Egyptian Parachuting and Air Sports Federation, Sky Sports EG will be hosting the first ever air sports festival in Egypt, with a tour over the pyramids. Not only will we get to fly over one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, but we'll also be passing the biggest Egyptian flag on our way down in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.

The jump will encompass a first class view of the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx and a few cemeteries, with morning and evening flights (depending on the weather).

The anticipated event kicks off on April 25th and runs four days, welcoming certified sky divers and paramotor pilots from all around the world. For the sky divers, the jumping altitude will be at 8,000ft. with a requirement to bring their own personal gear. For the paramotor pilots, license, third party and medical insurance is requested.

Group packages will also be available, along with the solo options for skydiving (USD 2,000), Paramotoring (USD 1,000) and tandem jumping (USD 60), all the details of which can be found here
