Forset Hayah is Egypt's First NGO for Kids With Rare Diseases

The Ministry of Social Solidarity is launching ‘Forset Hayah’, a new foundation focused on treating children with rare diseases.

While the Tahya Misr Fund and the Ministry of Health and Population already have initiatives for children with rare diseases, ‘Forset Hayah’ marks the first state effort dedicated entirely to the cause.

The foundation will mainly raise funds to manage the costs of medicine for rare diseases, some of which can be amongst the most expensive in the world.
