Great Times Around the Corner

Only four months old, Around the Corner Café boasts regular bookings with tons of Cairo’s musical artists, and a robust menu filled with breakfast foods (until 1PM!!), salads and pizzas. In fact, when we spoke with founding member Samaa Talha, we found out that some of the top-hitters on the menu include the meat lovers, carne, and seafood pizzas. And we were sold.

The vision for Around the Corner is a café that doesn’t leave you hanging when you need some munchies or someone to refill your shisha. And speaking of shisha, Around the Corner café offers the Xhale shisha, which is tar, molasses, and nicotine free. Quality is obviously top of their agenda, right down to the Italian Lavazza coffee that is way better than the bitter, foamy stuff some of the big-name cafes are serving up these days.  Better yet, they’ve got free, high-speed Wi-Fi so you can surf the web while you slurp away or chow down on their American-style pancakes.
