Incoming Travellers Can Now Register Through 'Visit Egypt' Website

Easing the entry process into Egypt is the new government website, Visit Egypt, which has come to replace older COVID-19 declaration forms.

The Visit Egypt website features steps that travellers must take - such as entering their personal data, contact details, trip data, and required documents - before submitting the form for approval. These steps have to be taken at least two days before the flight, otherwise travellers will have to fill out a paper form upon arrival.

If you are travelling to Egypt but weren’t able to submit the online form, you will be required to provide a vaccination certificate, which has to show that two weeks have passed since your vaccine has been taken. If you can’t, you will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 result taken 72 hours before arrival, and submitted with a QR code.
