International Shooting World Cup Will Take Place at New Capital
About 376 marksmen from 51 countries will be flying into Egypt for the chance to qualify from the Olympic shooting competitions.
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup - the premier international shooting event, where athletes test their aim with the rifle or the pistol - is about to take place at the New Administrative Capital from February 17th to February 24th.
About 376 marksmen from 51 countries - including Algeria, Australia, Brazil, Britain, South Africa, Singapore, Yemen and the United States - will be flying into Egypt for the chance to qualify from the Olympic shooting competitions. The ISSF World Cup is held across several nations throughout the year; Morocco and Indonesia hosted the first two ISSF World Cup events earlier this January, with more to take place around the world until the year's final event in Brazil this September.
The ISSF World Cup 2023 will return to Egypt for a shotgun event from April 25th to May 6th.
