Intl Volleyball Federation Names Ahmed Salah Among Top 100 Players

Ahmed Salah, one of Egypt’s most accomplished volleyballers, has been named among the top 100 players of the decade by the International Volleyball Federation.

Cairo-born volleyballer Ahmed Salah has been named among the top 100 most influential players of the decade by the International Volleyball Federations (FIVB), who recently released their #Roster100.


The Al-Ahly Club outside spiker was described by the federation as “Egypt’s favourite volleyball son,” and is well-established as the country’s highest-profile player.


Salah has played for teams abroad in Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and has so far made 10 Olympic appearances.
