Cairo Scene

Six new marine ambulance centres have been allocated by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly to operate along Egyptian coasts in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates.

These centres will help the tourism sector by serving cruises and a variety of marine activities such as diving and fishing trips. They will be dispatched to provide emergency services for the injured, drowning, or other diving accidents, and will be able to transfer them back to a hospital depending on the case.

A technical committee is in charge of determining the requirements of the marine ambulance service to operate in cooperation with ambulance centers located in north and south of Hurghada as well as north and south of Marsa Alam. With these boats available, accidents in the middle of the sea can be tended to immediately to ensure the safety of voyages along a number of coasts in Egypt.
