McCain's P-P-Poker Face

John McCain has the worse poker face ever. During a three hour congressional hearing, he was caught playing poker on his smartphone. The congressional hearing was about whether or not they should go to war in Syria.

It seems that the decision to go to war is so far gone and obvious, that nothing else matters to Mr. McCain who has been one of the loudest proponents of interfering in Syria. So it is really no surprise that he doesn't care what the facts are: his plan is to be a grumpy war monger, who may or may not have a gambling problem.

A picture of McCain making poker bets on his iPhone during the hearing was taken by a Washington Post photographer. The picture spread quickly through Twitter, prompting media agencies to approach the senator. “As much as I like to always listen in rapt attention constantly to remarks of my colleagues over a three-and-a-half-hour period, occasionally I get a little bored and so I resorted to poker”, McCain told CNN.

McCain continues,“But the worst thing about it is I lost thousands of dollars in this game,” clarifying that it was “fake” money. What isn't fake, however, is the dire situation in Syria and we're not sure we want him to take a gamble on that.
