Meet the super-felool presidential hopeful planning to ban alcohol, cut off social media and even start a war with Ethiopia. Former Mubarak Minster 'Madman' Mortada Mansour - yes, the man of many DVDs who was accused of initiating the infamous 'Battle of the Camel'- is now bidding to take over Egypt.

In his first speech outlining his upcoming camapign Monsour claimed he would ban social media if it endangered national security, launch a booze crackdown in order to prevent drunkeness, repeal the Camp David treaty with Israel and start a war with Ethiopia over the Nile.

Well at least we know what he stands for - crackpot politics. The ridiculous hopeful's many absurd statements have prompted the start of a spoof campaign which has already garnered nearly 30,000 fans on Facebook on a page entitled مرتضى منصور رئيسا لميتين ام مصر for which there really is no appropriate English translation.
