Ministry of Awqaf Donates EGP50 Million to Ataa Fund for Special Needs

The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) has agreed to donate EGP 50 million to the Ataa Fund, an investment fund by Nasser Social Bank to support people with special needs across Egypt. The fund looks to finance organisations, associations and authorities that provide services to people with special needs, which helps supply schools with specialised equipment, construct residences that accounts for special needs, and establish medical convoys for villages where healthcare is not accessible.

During the announcement, the Ministry of Awqaf also agreed to help fund 500 braille computers to university students with visual impairments.
