Ministry of Education to Train Teachers to Read & Write in Braille
The programme is a part of a larger initiative to better integrate students with visual impairments into the public school system.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education is implementing a new training programme for teachers, giving them the rundown on how to read and write in Braille, as well as how to interact with and guide students with visual impairments.
The programme is a part of a larger initiative to better integrate students with visual impairments into the public school system, under the supervision and coordination of the Central Administration for Special Education Affairs. The training will run until February 17th, and includes 20 teachers from five schools: Ansar Primary School, Mustafa Kamal Helmy School, Anas Bin Malik School, Mustafa Mushrafa School and Martyr Diab School.
