Ministry of Hajj & Umrah: Children Banned From Hajj in 2025

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that pilgrims will no longer be permitted to bring their children with them during the 2025 Hajj season. The decision was made in light of the fact that the Hajj pilgrimage draws huge crowds every year, which compromises the safety of children.

The ministry also announced the introduction of several new measures focussed on improving the safety and organisation of the Hajj experience. These include the launch of awareness campaigns regarding safety measures, the integration of intelligent systems to guide and regulate the movement of pilgrims to holy sites, and upgrades to the tent camps and pathways.

In addition to this, the ministry confirms that they will prioritise the participation of those who have not yet undertaken the pilgrimage in the 2025 Hajj.
