Ministry of Human Resources Confirms Eid Al Adha Begins on June 16th

The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources has confirmed that the first day of Eid Al Adha will fall on Sunday, June 16th, following the sighting of the crescent moon on Thursday, June 6th, marking the start of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. Eid Al Adha begins the day after Arafah Day, which this year falls on Saturday, June 15th.

As such, private sector workers will receive four days of holiday, from Saturday, June 15th until Tuesday, June 18th inclusive.
