Misr Public Library Opens Halls to Students Amidst Power Outages
Cairo’s Misr Public Library has opened its library halls to students for study purposes amidst ongoing power cuts.
Cairo’s Misr Public Library has announced that it will open its library halls to high school students and university students for study purposes every day until 10 PM. The decision comes as the library aims to assist students for their exam studies in light of ongoing power outages across the country and amidst the ongoing exam season, which has been extended to July 20th.
The ongoing power outages across the country have recently been increased to three hours per day until Saturday as per government directives. The government has further announced that all commercial shops will be obliged to close at 10 PM daily starting from June 30th in order to reduce electricity consumption.
