It’s time to get on board the sustainability train this November, when the Ministry of Transport is set to inaugurate the new East Nile Monorail project during the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh.

The monorail will run from Nasr City's Stadium Station to the New Administrative Capital's Adala City Station, spanning 22 stations over a length of 56.5 km.

The project is part of a larger public transportation overhaul aimed at creating a more efficient and greener system, which includes new electric train lines to the New Administrative Capital and a Bus Rapid Transit system around Cairo’s Ring Road.
