MotherBeing Clinic Collects Menstrual Products for Women in Gaza

Various non-governmental organizations, charitable entities, and advocates are pooling their expertise and resources to raise awareness about the ethnic cleansing occurring in Occupied Palestine. Amidst these efforts, Egyptian reproductive and women's health clinic 'MotherBeing' is appealing for volunteers to collect menstrual products for women in Gaza.

Due to the lack of clean water and healthcare services in Gaza, women have reportedly resorted to chemically delaying their menstrual cycles to avoid toxic shock syndrome, a life-threatening condition. In addition to the collection of menstrual products, the clinic also currently provides free healthcare services to Palestinian women.

In a statement, they said, "Due to the escalating demand on the healthcare system in Palestine resulting from the ongoing attacks on Gaza, MotherBeing is offering free online consultations to all Palestinian women in need of medical advice regarding their reproductive health. Currently, there are approximately 32,000 pregnant women in Gaza. It's crucial to emphasize that reproductive health does not come to a halt during times of war and catastrophes."

Donations can be dropped off at the clinic, located at Street 252, Floor 3, Apartment 7, Degla, Maadi.
