New Egyptian Parliament Building in New Administrative Capital to Be Ready By June
A further 34 government buildings are set to be finalised during 2019.

With public servants and government employees set to move to the New Administrative Capital in 2020, state-run construction giant, Arab Contractors, has announced that planned new parliament building in the new city will be delivered by end of June, according to Amwal Al Ghad.
Despite reports of delays in the construction of the capital as a whole, the Egyptian government maintains that all ministries will be fully relocated to the new capital in 2020 as planned, denying any delays in the mega-project which the government hopes will attract investors and overhaul the economy.
“We are currently executing the final phases of 34 government buildings in the new capital,” said Arab Contractors Chairman Mohsen Salah to Amwal Al Ghad.
