New Field Hospital in Sheikh Zuweid to Receive Wounded Palestinians

In a joint effort between the North Sinai Governorate and the Health Directorate, a field hospital is being established in the city of Sheikh Zuweid, with the aim of providing medical care to injured Palestinians upon their arrival in Egyptian territory.

Located behind Sheikh Zuweid Central Hospital, the field hospital is designed to accommodate up to 300 beds, with the potential for expansion as needed. It will be staffed by medical teams specialising in various disciplines.

The ambulance and health sectors in Sheikh Zuweid have been placed on high alert, enhancing their preparedness to receive and treat the injured. The Sheikh Zuweid Hospital is also fully equipped and ready to provide care to those requiring medical attention.
