New Metro Line Will Take You to Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

The Greater Cairo Metro is getting a new line that will take you from Cairo’s downtown to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum!
Egypt’s Ministry of Transport and the Japan International Cooperation Agency signed a USD 301 million loan agreement to help develop the Cairo Metro’s fourth line. The agreement is the second installment to fund the first phase of Line 4.
The first phase of the new line will be 19 km long with 16 stops, and will effectively connect the 6th of October with the outskirts of Giza and Cairo.
