New Official App to Help People in Rural Areas Find Work Opportunities

The Ministry of Local Development has launched a new phone app aimed at empowering Egyptians living in the countryside, in cooperation with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.

Called ‘Your Opportunity in Your Village’, the new app will act as a platform for opportunities, whether they’re for employment, education or fundraising. It will also serve as a tool with which citizens can voice their concerns to the ministry.

The app will include a portfolio of initiatives in the service sector, allowing citizens to join and benefit from initiatives and loans provided through the Local Development Fund.
