The ministry will coordinate with unions and several industrial chambers to implement the programme across all governorates.

The Ministry of Health and Population is rolling out a COVID-19 vaccination programme for factory workers with help from the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), which will provide the space for these vaccinations to be carried out.

The ministry will coordinate with unions and several industrial chambers to implement the programme across all governorates.

Among the general Egyptian population, around 970,000 citizens have received the vaccine so far, with the Ministry of Health and Population having sent 1.5 million SMS reminders asking citizens to book an appointment for the vaccine.
