If you've never considered going on a cruise around the Middle East, it might be time to start! The Red Sea Ports Authority has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Ports Group to develop major ports projects along the coast of Egypt.

According to the first agreement, a multipurpose terminal in Safaga seaport will be developed, operated and managed by AD Ports Group alongside the Red Seas Port Authority and the Egyptian Group for Multipurpose Terminals Company. The terminal will be ready by 2024, and will be capable of handling all kinds of general, dry and liquid bulk cargo.

The second agreement extends this cooperation to cruise ship berths and terminals across the Red Sea, including Sharm El Sheikh, Safaga and Hurghada. The plan is to create cruise ship lines between Egypt and the UAE, particularly between Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, and Abu Dhabi and Aqaba.
