New Salhia City in Sharqia is about to get a new private, non-profit university, giving local scientists the opportunity to advance Egypt's potential for scientific research and international cooperation.
With the vast majority of private universities based in Cairo, news of a brand new private university being established in Sharqia’s New Salhia city could mean huge advances in Egypt’s higher education, broadening its scope beyond the capital. The New Salhia University is set to play a major role in fostering educational cooperation between Sharqia’s scientists and other universities in Egypt, and universities around the world.
The non-profit institution looks to contribute to Egypt's potential for scientific research, nurturing the skills of future Egyptian specialists, technicians and experts in fields like Physiotherapy, Engineering, Management and Information Studies.
