Mahmoud Attia has won Egypt's third silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, raising the bar with an impressive showing at the Men's 72 kg Powerlifting event. The 40 year old Mansoura University alum previously competed at the 2017 World Para Powerlifting Championships in Mexico, where he made his mark on the board at the -65 kg event with a Rank 6 showing.
