Public Bunker Discovered Beneath Kafr El Zayat Park

A forgotten public bunker was unearthed at Kafr El Zayat, a city in the governorate of Gharbiya. The bunker, as well as a tunnel leading into it, was discovered underground during the demolition of Kafr El Zayat Park.

According to the governorate, the tunnel was constructed in the 1960s. Both the bunker and tunnel are currently being examined by authorities.
