Raya7 Balak

If you were watching CBC, MBC 2, MBC 4, ONTV or Al Nahar last night, you might have seen something strange. At 8PM, these channels all went blank - bar a spooky message telling you to raya7 balak - for a few minutes. But it didn't stop there. Radio stations such as Nogoum FM, and websites such as MSN Arabia also were blocked out with the same message, while tens of this morning's newspapers came off the presses with the words printed in big red writing. We don't know what's going on but it's got us intrigued and creeped out in equal measure.
