Release Date Announced for 'Ramy' Season 3

Back for a third season, the critically-acclaimed comedy-drama will feature famed Palestinian-Dutch supermodel Bella Hadid.

Egyptian-American Golden Globe winner, standup comedian, actor, writer, and director Ramy Youssef announced the return of comedy-drama Hulu series ‘Ramy’. Acclaimed for its daring depiction of a first-generation American millennial raised in a Muslim household who goes on a hurdled spiritual journey in search of belonging and identity, the show’s third season will feature famed Palestinian-Dutch supermodel Bella Hadid.

Inspired by Youssef’s personal experiences as a son of Egyptian immigrants raised in the US, the show helped Youssef earn a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy TV Series in 2020, and got him nominated for the same award in 2021. Featuring a bright cast that includes the likes of Egyptian actress Rosaline El Bay, Palestinian-Egyptian actress May El Calamawy, comedian Shadi Alfons and actor Amr Waked, the show has been praised for representing Egyptian, Arab and Muslim faces and perspectives in the United States.

The new ten-episode season will be released on September 30th, 2022.
