Russia Flights are Back in Operation to and from Egypt

After halting all charter flights with Egypt at the end of March due to the onset of the pandemic, Russia has recently allowed travel to and from Egypt to resume, alongside the UAE and the Maldives.

Three flights will be operating from Cairo every week, after Russia already restarted flights to the UK, Tanzania, Turkey, and Switzerland in August according to a number of criteria outlined by the Russian anti-Coronavirus crisis efforts. These criteria appear to have taken into consideration that since July 9th, Egypt has recorded daily tallies of less than a thousand new cases consistently, which allowed the government to let tourists fly into the three governorates with the lowest infection rates: South Sinai, the Red Sea and Matrouh.
