School’s Out for Eid Al Fitr Holiday From April 8th to the 14th
Students and schools across public and private institutions will enjoy the same week-long holiday as the public sector.
The Authority of Knowledge and Human Development has announced the dates for Eid Al Fitr holiday for students and schools throughout the UAE, including both public and private schools, as well as universities and nurseries. The holiday will run from Monday, April 8th until Sunday, April 14th, with all schools returning to normal non-Ramadan hours on Monday, April 15th.
Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that Eid Al Fitr holiday for the private sector would also begin on April 8th, lasting three or four days depending on the sighting of the crescent moon. Meanwhile, public sector holidays will last a full week just like schools, running from April 8th to the 14th.
