Six Ancient Egyptian Artefacts Returned to Egypt From New Zealand

Six ancient Egyptian artefacts have recently been retrieved from the Whanganui Regional Museum and Southland Museum in New Zealand, through collaborative efforts between the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in New Zealand.

According to the General Administration for Antiquities Repatriation and the Central Admission for Archaeological Units, the recovered artefacts feature a collection of three human remains from ancient Egyptian mummies, a mummified hawk, fragments of fabrics, and a cartonnage.

The artefacts are now preserved at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to undergo restoration.
