Support Egypt’s Stray Dogs at Creative Auction ‘One Cool Thing’

‘That Really Cool Studio’, a creative Cairo-based collective, is showing us that even our questionable quirky collectibles can be put to a good cause with the second edition of their auction, ‘One Cool Thing’. They’re auctioning off a selection of donated kitsch items from artists and brands across the country, with the proceeds of one special piece being dedicated to the Animal Protection Foundation, a local nonprofit committed to protecting Egypt’s stray dogs.

The Animal Protection Foundation works off of donations to rescue dogs across Egypt from the risk of abandonment, with 2,050 dogs currently housed in their shelter at El Harraniya. The organisation also raises awareness about animal rights at large through its social media platforms. 

‘One Cool Thing’ is scheduled to take place on November 23rd, from 7 PM to 10 PM at ‘That Really Cool Studio’ in Zamalek.
