Sweet Matrimonial Revenge

A jilted lover got the ultimate revenge by posting an advert on low-end bric-a-brac site Gumtree to sell the wedding dress of his "adulterous, deceitful, double-crossing and traitorous soulmate." The heartbroken Australian man posted the side splitting deal after his wife slept with one of his closest friends.

The furious post proclaims that the "harlot-sized ensemble" is targeted at cheaters and is ‘in better condition than the marriage’. The angry offer racked up more than 60,000 visits within hours of being posted online.

The cutting description reads: "Due to be married soon? "Not planning on staying faithful? Want to sleep with one of your soon-to-be husband’s closest friends?
"Then THIS is the wedding dress for you!"

The post finishes on a biblical note - with the man even comparing his former lover to Judas Iscariot - the man believed to have sent Jesus Christ to his death.

"A one of a kind garment designed by Benedict Arnold, believed to be derived from the very cloth Judas Iscariot himself wore to the Garden of Gethsemane to betray the only son of God – Jesus Christ."

It goes on to read that the dress offers legal entitlement to your husband’s worldly possessions. However the garment itself is available for a less than eye-watering amount.
