Syrian refugee child star to play next to Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie in Marvel Movie

Syrian refugee and rising Capernaum actor, Zein Al Rafih was found in a picture with Salma Hayek and Lia McHugh. The image set off rumours that the young actor will be taking part in the next Marvel movie 'The Eternals’, alongside stars Angelina Jolie and Kit Harington.

The 15-year-old actor was launched to stardom for his (first) role in the 2018 film Capernaum directed by Nadine Labaki, which won the Jury Prize at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards. He was twelve years old and illiterate during the production of the film, and since his breakout performance has moved to live and settle in Norway.

Al Rafih's role in the new movie has not yet been announced.
