Fresh off last weekend’s extended fun, we were blessed with yet another chance at cheating work with Thursday being an official day off! Not like everyone wouldn’t have taken the entire rest of the week hidden behind a forged sick note, but here are 10 ways we think your weekend should look like. Your mother agrees too. She writes to us all the time.
Thursday the 6th
The final round of Battle of the Bands is here! They've spent the past months scouting the country for talented bands who can take over the stage, and now that only two bands stand, the final level will be the hottest. Not only will iconic Egyptian bands Cairokee and Sharmoofers be doing the entertaining, but Fiat (the cool car guys) is putting together a competition, and asking you to drop the shampoo bottle to show the camera what you really got! All you need to do is post a photo or a video of yourself singing or playing an instrument, and tag @Fiat_Egypt, along with #FiatXBOTB2016, and you can get your hands on two free tickets to the finale at the Pyramids!
Time: 5:00pm - 12:00am
Prices: Free if you're super talented.
Want to take a trip to Sokhna and make it back in time for dinner? All you need to do is put on your bikini, take a 45-minute trip down to the isolated oasis - where only those who walk through the doors can be allowed into the secluded Clique Beach club at Stella di Mare! To make things even more tempting, Blurr Events are behind the 3-day festivities, and they’re pretty much the Frank Sinatra of partying. Ramy DJunkie will know how to get the weekend started before A-Squared, Misty, Hafez, Fayek, Ashraf Hasib, Aly B, and Marc Wahba, take over the next couple of days of your weekend! #FindYourClique

On this day many years ago, a coalition of Arab states led by our country Om El Donia and Syria to war against Israel from October 6 to 25, 1973. History books (including Google) said that the fighting mostly took place in the Sinai, which is the perfect excuse for you to ship yourself off to Dahab for 4 days! You'll be exploring the beautiful nature of the Bedouin life, Twailaat mountain, and have dinner at the Blue Hole. Patriotism and relaxation mix well.

Zigzag used to be the it-spot for the best afterparties in history until they recently stepped it up and had us ditching the party and heading straight to their cozy venue downtown! It's the place to be if you don't mind staying up until the sun drunkenly says hi.
Time: 10:00pm - 3:00am
The best things in life come in pairs, and Aguizi & Fahim are no different! We don't think you'll be making that trip to visit Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica, so spending the night in Alexandria at Montreal Club & Bar sipping on cocktails and moving to the tunes doesn't sound like a bad idea at all! Plus, if the party blows, you could always just take a long walk along the Corniche and cry.
Time: 10:00pm - 4:00am
For the final night of CJC's 3-day Oktoberfest mania celebration, Ghandokli will be supplying the musical party needs by playing everything from pop, house, to RnB, and even Arabic tunes! So get there, have a couple of beers (it's sort of obligatory), then just dance dance dance!
Time: 10:00pm - 3:00am
The mystical land of Luxor is enough to get you daydreaming, but when you pair it with one of the best DJ duos in the region, along with an incredible lineup of Ahmed Romel, Amir Sharara, Mohamed Ragab, The Thrillseekers, and more, we don't think you need that much racking of the brain.

Taking pictures of your food and countless selfies before posting them with a 50% Gingham filter on Insta does not count as photography. It’s fine, Journalist Mohamed Hesham will get you a little closer towards knowing one or two things about photography so you can finally start taking professional pictures of your cat Lilly.
