The 19th Best DJs in the World

This year, they’ve climbed their way to number 19 on DJ Mag’s coveted annual Top 100 DJslist, compiled of the best deck dazzlers from around the world. The duo have always stuck to their style of uplifting trance, touring the globe with their euphoric sound and original productions. They’ve been everywhere from Belarus to Lithuania and from Peru to India, spreading the important message that no, we’re not all revolutions and bamia. We Egyptians can make really good noises too.

Here is a small excerpt from their interview that was published alongside the list:

“We saw an influx of change within the trance scene this year, a lot of DJs were slowing down their BPMs. This is not what we are about, we have always stuck to our style of trance, the more uplifting side of the genre.”

We feel you boys. We are sick of those motherfucking posers, always slowing down their BPMs. You guys just keep keeping it real. Well done Aly & Fila you’ve made us proud.  19 is nice!
