This New Destination in Madinah is All About Islamic World History
The Islamic Civilization Village invites visitors to the sacred city to immerse themselves in the history of the Muslim world.

A new project is set to spotlight the rich heritage of Madinah, Saudi Arabia and the Islamic world at large. The upcoming Islamic Civilization Village will engage visitors and pilgrims to the sacred city of Madinah with a deep edutainment experience through a wide range of activities, hospitality services and live shows that depict various parts of Islamic history from across the world.
The project will be made up of eight distinct zones, each representing an important segment of the Islamic world and its history: the Arabian Peninsula, Mashriq, Islamic South Asia, Maghrib, SEAN, the Silk Road, Al-Andalus and Africa.
Spanning over 257,000 square metres, the Islamic Civilization Village is part of the kingdom's broader goals to enhance the tourist experience in Saudi Arabia, and will feature retail outlets, dining options, interactive shows and green spaces.
