Truecaller Ranks Egypt 20th in Top Countries Affected by Spam Calls in 2019

We all know how unbelievably annoying it is to receive a call from an unknown number only to discover it's someone trying to sell you a product that you're not, nor will you ever be, interested in. Even worse when it turns out they're not actually Nancy Ajram! Truecaller put together a list of the top 20 countries impacted by spam calls in 2019 and, unsurprisingly, Egypt made the list ranking 20th.

According to the Truecaller official blog, Egypt ranked within the top 10 in 2017, and in 2018, it was out of the list completely. But we crawled our way back in this year, with the biggest perpetrators being operators and telecom services promoting their offers and services.
