'Twas the Night Before The Magic Mistletoe Xmas Party

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;  

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,  

In hopes that Haifa Wahbe soon would be there.  

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of Alla Kushnir danced in their heads;  

And mamma in her ’kerchief, and I in my cap,  

Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap; 

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,  

I sprang from the bed to see what's the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,  

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.  

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

Behold The Eventers were drawing a'near.

With the music that was playing,  

I knew in a moment it must be the tunes of the DJunkie a'flowing;   

And after that came what nobody had doubted,

The sounds of Disco Misr so we whistled, and shouted.

We drank and we laughed, and we called them by name; 

“We came here for you, now please entertain!”

Without any delay they obliged with a smile,  

As the drinks from the open-bar flowed endless with style.

With Haifa and Alla, both dancing and singing,

It made for a perfected night’s worth of binging.

The Magic Mistletoe was hanging above us,  

Those who were in luck were caught under it with lovers. 

At just the right time, inside Kempinski Palace,

A grand toast was made; everyone raised their chalice.

As the night moved on we were all having fun,

And we sang, and we drank, and thought what a good run!

All of this will take place at the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski, with an open bar all night (enjoy responsibly, please), and an array of gastronomical selections to tantalise your taste buds!
