UAE Government Announces Eid Al Fitr Public Sector Holidays

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the official Eid Al Fitr holiday dates for public sector employees in the UAE. The break will begin on the 1st of Shawwal, marking the end of Ramadan, and will last until the 3rd of Shawwal.

If Ramadan extends to 30 days, public sector employees will receive an additional day off on the 30th of Ramadan, effectively extending the holiday period.

The exact dates will depend on the official moon sighting, which determines the start of Shawwal. As Eid Al Fitr approaches, private sector holiday dates are expected to be announced in line with government regulations.
