USD 10 Billion Wind Power Plant Will Be Established in Sohag

A wind power plant worth USD 10 billion capable of generating 10 gigawatts of clean energy will be established in Sohag.
Built through a partnership between Egyptian renewable energy firm, UAE-based energy company Masdar and Hassan Allam Utilities, an investment branch of Egypt-based construction company Hassan Allam Holdings focusing on infrastructure for renewable energy, the power plant will be built across 3,000 square kilometres and will be able to produce 47,790 GWH of clean energy annually.
