USD 458 Million Housing Package Approved for UAE Citizens This Eid
The new initiative is set to benefit 2,160 citizens this June under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program.
The United Arab Emirates has approved a housing package worth AED 1.68 billion (USD 458 million) for Eid. This initiative is set to benefit 2,160 citizens this June under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program.
As part of this comprehensive housing support, the UAE has launched the "Manzili" bundle, designed to simplify and streamline the housing process for citizens. The program drastically reduces the paperwork and procedural hurdles previously associated with housing assistance. Under "Manzili," the number of required documents has been cut from 10 to 2, and the number of procedures from 14 to just 3. Additionally, citizens now only need to deal with one entity instead of navigating through 11 different agencies.
The "Manzili" initiative aims to eliminate bureaucracy and streamline government procedures, enhancing the quality of digital government services. This aligns perfectly with the UAE's broader goals of reducing government procedures by 2,000 within a year and cutting service completion time by 50%.
