New University Project in Wadi El Natrun Estimated to Cost EGP 1 Billion

The Egyptian Company for Consultancy and Educational services recently signed a preliminary contract to begin construction on a private university dubbed Akhenatan, in the Beheira governorate's Wadi El Natrun, reports Almalnews. 

The project which will cost an estimate of EGP 1 billion is predicted to be done by 2019/2020 and will be taking up to 10,000 students. EGP 600 million will be received in loans from local banks while the remaining EGP 400 million will be splot among the investors; who are part of the The Egyptian Company for Consultancy and Educational Services. 

Akhenaten university will be home to a faculty of Pharmacy, a faculty of dentistry, a faculty of medicine, a physio-therapy department, a media department, a tourism department, an accounting department, and an Economics and management department.

The construction of Akhenaten University will be implemented in three stages, with the first one overseeing the construction of three of the technical schools and one of the theoretical schools. The first stage is set to be done within two years of the preliminary contract signing. At the moment the project is still in the beginning phases as the parties finalise the architectural plan of the institute.
