Selfie stick in hand, Hani Lapodi goes skydiving over the pyramids of Giza and captures the entire experience on video - and it's epic.
Forget Sahel and Dahab - that's so old school. Really want to get adventurous and do something worthwhile with whatever vacation time you can squeeze out of your 9-to-5 (or to eight) job? Skydiving over the pyramids, maybe? Yeah, that's now become a thing.
Hani Lapodi grabbed a selfie stick and used it to shoot a video, rotating it to give an impression of a never ending moving panoramic view of the country. He goes to places like the Cairo International airport, the metro, the Zamalek korneish, Cairo Tower, the pyramids, and finally a helicopter from which he jumps, videotaping the awesome experience of skydiving over the pyramids – a dream of many who love adventure and living on the edge.
“I’ve always dreamt of skydiving above the pyramids, a virgin airspace, untouched! Last month that dream came true! Don’t listen to the naysayers, people will tell you to give up on something they did…Don’t,” Lapodi says in his Facebook post where he shared the video. Go ahead; live a little!
