Video Promoting LGBT Rights in Lebanon Turns Heads

Marking this year's International Day Against Homophobia is a striking video encouraging acceptance and equal rights in Lebanon.

“Do you know that the first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that all human beings are equal in dignity and rights?” starts a promotional video against homophobia in Lebanon. The video issued by the Lebanese civil society group, Proud Lebanon, features a stream of Lebanese public personalities calling for rights for the LGBT community and denouncing homophobia.

The video has been released in order to mark the May 17th International Day Against Homophobia. The video concludes by inviting people to participate in an event hosted by the group where activities will take place addressing issues related to the cause.
