You Can Now Call 15335 for Premarital Medical Certificate Inquiries

The Ministry of Health and Population has launched a new hotline (15335) to provide citizens with information about the premarital medical examinations that have recently gone into effect.

The initiative includes tests for non-communicable diseases and conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity, as well as infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis B and C. Counseling and health education services are also provided with complete privacy and confidentiality.

In case of a positive result, the referral system will be applied, while negative results will encourage parties to develop plans to prevent both communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Additionally, the Ministry and the Goethe-Institut will hold training courses on digital learning and organise a competition for students to pass the German language, offering winners the opportunity to travel to Germany.
