You Can Now Call a Hotline to Order Your Uber

Literally nothing is worse or more irritating than attempting to order an Uber only to find out you've run out of internet. If your BFFs are nowhere in sight, you probably end up awkwardly asking strangers to 'hotspot' you just so you can make it home. Well, a very welcome upgrade from Uber is set to make this most awkward of scenarios history, announcing the launch of their offline ride-ordering hotline - a number you can call to order your ride.

The way it works is thus. Call 15199 and a customer service agent will pick up and sort out the ride for you, including your pick-up location, destination, and even informing you of how much the ride will cost and how long it will take. The service is currently only available in Greater Cairo. 

The service doesn't only come to the rescue of those who often find themselves running out of internet bundle, but also tech-adverse segments of society, like the elderly or people with visual impairment. Not that it was ever a challenge, but ordering your Uber is now easier than ever.
