You Can Now Use Bank Cards to Buy Tickets Into These Egyptian Sites

Egyptian tourists and visitors can now use bank cards or Meeza cards to enter museums and archaeological sites. The Chamber of Tourism and Travel Companies announced that electronic payment will be activated starting May 15th, 2023.

Visitors can access all available sites through www.egymonuments.com and make payments with bank cards. The electronic ticket system will be available at several points of sale in each location. The new payment system will prevent counterfeit tickets and aims to improve the experience of tourists and visitors in Egypt.

However, since this is only phase one, you will only be able to pay with your card upon entry into Aswan’s Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, and Edfu temples for now.
