And we are not using the word legends lightly; Didier Drogba, Francesco Totti, Michael Ballack, Luis Figo, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho are some of the names already confirmed to play, while more players will be announced soon.
On Egypt's side, a collection of the country's greatest former players are set to appear, including Hazem Emam, Hossamand Ibrahim Hassan, Esam El Hadary, Hany Ramzy, Mohamed Barakat, Wael Gomma, Ahmed Hassan, Abdel-Zaher Al Sakka, Yasser Radwan, Mohamed Emara, Abdel Satar Sabry, Mohamed Shawky, and others.
The game will be played in front of 70,000 fans, the largest number of supporters allowed into a game after a six-year ban on football games imposed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Regarding league matches, fans will also be re-allowed entrance to stadiums, though in a much more gradual manner; it was agreed that 5,000 fans would be allowed to attend local matches and 20,000 to attend international matches starting September 1st.
